I've been gone on a business trip for my wonderful girlfriend. Although, on this trip, i wasn't as much of a help to her as i have been in the past. normally I'm her cheerful and delightful little secretary/assistant who follows her around every step she goes to provide pens, documents and the like at a whim. This time; however, i had a major problem with the heat. Growing up, i spent a lot of time in the desert. Going through Nevada, Arizona was no big deal. Staying four days camping out at the Colorado river in Blythe or some other similar location, camping out in the wild along the grand canyon (my father once saying, don't go too far that way if you need to go pee, you'll fall off the edge). I would be like, sunscreen? huh? and end up with blisters on my back. I was rugged. I could handle all this with enjoyment. Now? I'm a big pussy, apparently. The heat made me stomach sick, got heat rash, had issues with allergies. All sorts of issues. And we were staying at a resort! oh my goddess... The other issue i had was not quite so bad, but it's been a while since I've had to drive 6 to 8 hours one way. And this time it was in a four door sedan with AC and is an automatic transmission. When the hell did i get so delicate? When i think about growing up with all the adventurous, sometimes dangerous, things i did, i have to wonder. When did i become such a... such a... Girl?! Well, i suppose it was inevitable. And to be honest? I like being delicate (yah! dammit!)

this was the first time we went as a couple. not that we weren't a couple before, we were just friends. The group that all goes to this event are largely older and conservative so she was afraid how it might affect her work etc. But with the advice of her boss, we went as girlfriends. I was much happier this time, despite my issues with the heat.

When i was feeling like i could go and do stuff, i took pictures. although mainly it was work related. I needed product pictures for new wigs I'd been working on. A couple will end up here but for the most part they'll be on the other site. I was also able to spend time down in the lounge where a lot of businessmen were sitting, working away on their laptops, talking to other associates, reviewing notes for their next meeting. I was dressed in my office attire (lookin' pretty hot, if i do say so myself) working on my laptop. I'd notice guys staring over at me as i wore my convention badge. They were probably wondering who i was with (company wise) and the like. While they were doing all of what they were, I'm sure none of them expected me to be working on bisexual Gothic erotica novels. (Makes me smile every time i think about it)

I'm not really feeling the creativity with Renee or any of my other dolls as of yet. Part of it, I'm sure, has to do with the fact that's all I've ever done with my photography and the limitations of doll photography (at least as i see it). I have been thinking of doing some drawing, which is strange. I haven't drawn anything in years. But another reason is I've been heavily kicked in the arse by the muse of my writing. I'm planning on writing three novels which will be finished between the end of the summer to the end of the year. Then i start my work to become published.

So i need to ask those of you who read this, should i make (yet another *unpleasant whining* DA account for what i might draw and other forms of photography or put it here? I need some guidance on this because i just don't know for sure.
